MORPHOLOGY ON CULTURE MEDIA

E.Coli:
Circular, Convex, Smooth colonies with distinct edges. Some strains produce Hemolysis on blood agar.
Enterobacter:
Similar to E.Coli but more mucoid.
Klebsiella:
 Large and very mucoid colonies coalesce with prolonged incubation.
Salmonellae and shigellae:

 Similar to E.Coli but they do not ferment lactose.
